Terms governing the use of Red Clay Construction Group services
Effective date: January 1, 2025Red Clay Construction Group LLC ("Red Clay," "we," "our," or "us") provides property maintenance, repair, and renovation services for residential rental properties in the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area. Services are provided to property management companies, property owners, and their authorized representatives.
Red Clay reserves the right to decline any work order that falls outside our scope of services, requires licensing we do not hold, or presents safety concerns. Work outside our scope will be communicated promptly so the requesting party can engage an appropriate vendor.
Work orders may be submitted via email to dispatch@redclaycg.com or through any authorized work order platform. All work orders should include the property address, description of work needed, tenant contact information, and any relevant access instructions.
Red Clay will confirm receipt and provide a scheduled date within one business day of receiving a work order. Scheduling is subject to technician availability. Emergency requests are accommodated when possible and may be subject to additional charges.
General labor is billed at our current standard hourly rate in 15-minute increments. Common repair services are available at flat rates as published on our website and in our service agreements. Materials are billed at cost plus a sourcing and handling fee of 15%.
Invoices are issued upon job completion and are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accounts past due by more than 30 days may be subject to a late fee and suspension of service.
Red Clay reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice. Agreed flat rates in active service agreements will be honored for the term of the agreement.
Red Clay Construction Group warrants all labor and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of service completion. If a defect in workmanship is identified within this period, Red Clay will return to remedy the issue at no additional labor charge.
Warranty claims must be submitted to dispatch@redclaycg.com within the 30-day warranty period. Red Clay will schedule warranty service within a reasonable time upon confirmation that the issue falls within warranty coverage.
Red Clay's liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Red Clay is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including lost rents, tenant complaints, or property value impacts.
Red Clay is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, latent defects, or damage caused by factors outside the scope of the work performed. We will document pre-existing conditions discovered during service visits and communicate them to the requesting party.
Red Clay technicians will communicate professionally with tenants at the service location. Scheduling confirmations, on-the-way notifications, and completion notices may be sent to tenants via text message using our field service platform. Tenants may opt out of text notifications by replying STOP.
It is the responsibility of the property manager or owner to provide accurate tenant contact information and to ensure tenants are aware of and have consented to the service visit in accordance with applicable landlord-tenant law. Red Clay is not responsible for compliance with notice requirements to tenants.
Red Clay Construction Group maintains general liability insurance coverage. A current certificate of insurance is available upon request by emailing info@redclaycg.com.
Red Clay performs general maintenance and repair work that does not require a specialty contractor license in Georgia. Work that requires a licensed plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, or other licensed trade will be declined and the requesting party will be notified promptly.
These terms of service are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising from services provided by Red Clay Construction Group shall be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia or another mutually agreed venue.
Red Clay reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted to this page with a revised effective date. Continued engagement of Red Clay's services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
